Celebrating global diversity, the 4th Annual Long Beach Indie International Film, Media, and Music Festival takes place August 30 through September 3, 2017 in scenic Long Beach, California.
Are you a musician, actor, producer, writer or director? Are you interested in a career in film, television, music or digital media? Do you have a fascination with the entertainment industry? If the answer to either of these questions is “Yes” then the Long Beach Indie Film, Media and Music Conference is for you.
Goals of the LBI Film, Media & Music Conference
1) To provide aspiring and emergent creative professionals (e.g. musicians, artists, filmmakers, actors, designers, producers, etc.) with the information needed to become successful.
2) To bring international scholars and entertainment industry leaders together to talk about the past, present, and future entertainment and digital media.
The conference includes entertainment industry panels, workshops and master classes, scholarly panels, and music showcases.
Since its inception in 2014 panels and workshops have been facilitated by Oscar, Emmy, Grammy, Golden Globe, Directors Guild of America, ALMA and NAACP Image Award winners and nominees alongside industry leaders and scholars from some of the world’s top film, digital media, music, communications, and art schools.
Basic registration package includes all workshops and panels (9/1-9/2) and the 2017 college and career fair.
Upgraded registration includes the basic registration package plus the LBI Industry Luncheon (9/1), all non-VIP parties (8/31-9/2) and all Step to the Mic music showcases 8/31-9/2.
VIP Festival Pass includes access to all activities (e.g. films, workshops, parties, luncheons, Entertainment Business Summit and Expo, Career Pathways Conference, etc.) taking place at the five-day Long Beach Indie International Film, Media and Music festival including the LBI Awards Gala (9/3).
